It appears as a fine white emulsion, with a solid content of 42±2%, a viscosity of ≤500mpa.s (at 25℃), a PH value of 9 - 12 (in a 2% aqueous solution), and a density of 1.0 - 1.1g/cm³ (at 25℃). It has an excellent lubricating effect on coatings, which can improve their fluidity and leveling performance, ensuring a smooth and even coating application. As a liquid, it can be used directly without the need for prior dilution and stirring like dry powder or paste, and can be added at any step during the coating preparation process. After the coating dries, it can prevent cracking, improve the appearance and printing performance, enhance the gloss, and give the paper a smooth feel. It is used as a lubricant in the preparation of papermaking coatings to improve the quality of coated paper and is widely applied in the production of various paper products such as coated art paper, coated white board paper, and offset printing paper.
